VicTrack faced significant operational disruptions due to various roof leaks in the workshop where new trains were being fitted out. These leaks threatened the safety of workers and the timely delivery of trains, necessitating urgent remedial actions to safeguard the integrity of the workshop and ensure uninterrupted operations.

Citywide addressed the issue head-on by replacing the existing box guttering and conducting extensive repairs to the current sheeting. This strategic intervention by Citywide aimed to eliminate the root causes of water ingress, thereby ensuring a long-term solution that would protect the workshop from future water damage and maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.

Thanks to Citywide's effective solution, VicTrack was able to resume operations in a safe and secure environment, free from the threat of water damage. With 40lm of box guttering and 300m² of sheeting replaced, the structural integrity and operational efficiency of the workshop were restored, enabling the continuous fit-out of new trains without any further disruptions.
